Alvis 12/50 SC 4-seat tourer

A very good example of the Alvis 12/50, having been totally restored some years ago.

An interesting early history, the car left the Alvis works as an open 2-seater, but in 1929 she

went back to "The Alvis" to have the 4-seater body fitted. This body had been fitted to a Silver Eagle.

Why this change took place is now lost in the mists of time, but a possible explanation is that the car may have

belonged to George Tattersall and used by him for publicity and competition. Later when he needed a touring car,

the change was made!

Much history and bills in file with car.

Drive well, as all 12/50s should.
