Leyland Lioness Six FE's Fire Engine

This superbly restored Leyland Lioness is one of only five manufactured and was received at the Bristol Station

in May 1931, she is still in full working order.

Only three Lioness's exist today, one in South Africa, in preservation but not running, one in Bristol in preservation

but also not running and this one "HY 1801". She served for 35 years in the Bristol Fire Brigade and was one of the few

Fire Service vehicles not to have been painted grey for war time duties.

One claim to fame is that she was used on a film shoot for the 'Nanny' series, starring Wendy Craig.
