    The NN is in excellent shape and drives very well, the engine, a 950cc 4 cylinder s/v, has been totally restored, mated to a 3-speed gearbox.

    A very good original car with a full history.

    Sound and solid with good performance, twin carb. engine.

    This Riley 9 is one of about 12 bodied by Holbrook and is the only one on the road.

    There are only 4 in total known today, this one being the only one on the road. Restored in the early 1970s and is now in “original” worn condition, however the engine
    has recently been re-built by Ricketts Engineering, with a new crankshaft. She drives superbly well, with a nice quiet gearbox, and good brakes. Only done ~200 miles from new, and being run in slowly. Starts on the button.

    A very rare model and possibly the only one on the road.

    Having the “Plus Ultra” chassis, stiffened and slightly lower and the “Special Series” engine giving good handling and lively performance.

    The engine was stripped and rebuilt in 2015 by ‘Blue Diamond’ Riley specialists.

    The bodywork is in good condition, very sound and has fairly recently, been re-painted.

    Engine, 1098cc twin-cam, 4-cylinder with twin SU carburettors and sports exhaust manifold.

    4-speed and reverse manual gearbox.

    Good history, known to the “Riley Register” and VSCC.

    The last owner of NEL514 bought this 2.5 litre motor car in 1978 for the purpose of European touring, after owning a 1.5 litre Riley Kestrel for many years.

    Over the years the car has been upgraded, the ash frame was renewed, brakes overhauled, the engine rebuilt, a Webasto sun roof fitted, leather refurbished, new headlining fitted (at this very moment) and a refurbished original 1953 overdrive fitted.

    The car has been repainted some years ago.

    In very presentable condition throughout, a long legged touring car, happy in today’s motoring climate.
