    History known from new, pictured in ‘A Pride of Bentleys’ by John Adams & Ray Roberts, page 191.

    Suppied new by Jack Barclay Ltd of London to Sir Robert McAlpine in 1949.

    The car had covered some 300,000 miles by the late 70’s, but has since had a total engine rebuild by RR & Bentley at Crewe and has only covered approximately 30,000 since.

    Only 28 examples of this short winged coachwork were built.

    A very full history file is supplied.
